Give me a million dollars
And I’ll give you a million lines
About why I don’t need a million pieces of paper
For a million dollar smile

Offer me a business card
And I’ll make it your business to see
Why I don’t want a business meeting
To keep myself busy

Lead me on a power trip
But the only power there will be
Is proof that positions of power
Don’t empower me

Accuse me of lacking belief
But, believe me, you will be wrong
For my belief is religion just shuns
The beliefs that don’t sing the same song

Grant me complete independence
But independence will not mean I’m free
For freedom depends on the knowledge
That interdependence is key

But hand me a passionate soul
And passion from my heart will bleed
For it’s the passionate people who’ll teach you
That passion is all that we need.
